Work History
State of Missouri - Information Technology Services Division (2011 - Current)
My role as a graphic designer and project leader for the State has been to develop engaging branding initiatives and designs in a number of formats including digital, print, social media and interactive web sites that promote a clear vision of the client’s expectations while adhering to usability, accessibility and best practices set forth by my employer. This role has afforded me the opportunity to lead the visual direction on many state projects such as 100 Missouri Miles, Department of Economics, Mo.gov and more.

Big Nickel - (2011)
As a advertising designer I was able to communicate with the client to create a visually appealing ad that was effective in promoting the clients needs in a fast paced environment. During my time there I was apart of the prepress layout process and meeting deadlines for each weekly print run.
Missouri Southern Athletic Office (2010)
Intern
During my time as an intern I was tasked in designing the athletic media guides and other marketing related products along with website upkeep. I worked in hand with the SID to showcase the student-athletes and the athletic department to the public, provide statistics and run entertainment at athletic events.

I completed my Bachelors of Fine Arts at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri. I majored in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing. I attended from 2006-2010 and also played on the university's softball team.
Content Strategy Certificate
Completed online course on Content Strategy for Professionals where I learned the tools to create and implement engaging content and master communication strategies put on my Northwestern University.
Information and Communication Technology Accesbility
An online course through edx.org out on my Georgia Tech where I learned how to identify issues and design solutions for information and communication technology (ICT) accessibility for customers and employees with disabilities.
